Where does the money I live off of while I'm at AFH come from?
While AFH covers all the residents’ basic needs, ladies are allowed to spend $20 a month when we go shopping. Sometimes they buy a snack, stamps to send letters to family or other items they would like to have. AFH does not provide spending money for them, so some women pull these funds from savings or work with their family or church to help cover this.
