Can I have a job while I live at A Friend’s House?

Not initially. Only after a woman successfully progresses through the first three stages, may she move into the Independent Stage. At that time she may pursue a regular volunteer opportunity, secure a part-time job and begin to make plans for life after A Friend’s House.

Can I have a car while I live at A Friend’s House?

Can I be accepted if I’m on medications?

What are the first steps for me to take to get into AFH?

Will I have a roommate while I live at AFH?

How will my medications and doctor’s appointments be paid?

Can I talk with my family and friends while I’m in the program?

Can I visit AFH before I’m accepted into the program?
