“The last relationship became so serious that I convinced myself I could leave my husband for him. I became someone I didn’t recognize as my sin spiraled out of control..."
Thankfully, many of you help us keep our grocery costs low by donating items we use frequently. There are key pantry and paper items that we go through quickly at A Friend’s House. Since we have established menus, we know what ingredients we will need for the upcoming months. Some of our supporters pick up an extra item or two when they grocery shop. Others organize a collection within their club, family or Sunday school class.
We are often asked what items we need, so we will keep an updated list on our website. While many of these items are non-perishables, some of them can be frozen. To see the list click here.
If you have items to donate, please call before dropping them off to make sure we’re at the building. Also, if you have items you would like to donate that are not on the list, please call to talk to someone before bringing them in. Since our menus are set, we know there are some grocery items we don’t use.
