The residents at AFH are fully immersed in the community of our home. Assuming responsibility for cooking daily meals, taking care of the laundry and cleaning the residence, they participate in each activity that prepares them for life after graduating from our program.

A Friend’s House administers to the whole person by inviting musicians and speakers into the home, and traveling to museums and areas of interest in the region. Attending concerts or plays and hosting teas and dinners at AFH, young women will learn the beauty of God’s creations and find reward in artistry.

The strength of A Friend’s House lies in the Biblical foundation on which our program is based. Residents also enjoy a variety of activities in the surrounding communities as well as volunteer opportunities, part-time jobs, and weekly church services.
